Midnight Diner is a very clever Japanese TV series based on the manga of the same name by Yarō Abe. The show focuses on a midnight diner, the chef, known only as “The Master”, and his involvement with his customers. Every episode is unique and offers an opportunity to get real insight into the Japanese culture. This series is not just about food. But the stories that make up the series revolve around the food.
